Stem cells and effectiveness in the treatment of many diseases

Stem cells are precursor cells of all cells and tissues of the human body. In the process of intrauterine development, stem cells turn into cells of organs and tissues, creating bones, heart, liver, lungs, etc. These same cells are found in the human body at all stages of its life. However, over time, the supply of stem cells and their quality decrease in the fight against infections, injuries and negative environmental influences. It is umbilical cord blood, due to the presence of stem cells in it, that is a valuable material for the treatment of many diseases.

There are different types of stem cells in the human body. They differ in their qualities, degree of differentiation and where they are contained.

  • Bone Marrow
    Before the discovery of the properties of umbilical cord blood and umbilical cord, the known source of hematopoietic and mesenchymal stem cells was human bone marrow. It is with bone marrow transplantation that the history of the successful use of stem cells in medicine begins.
  • Peripheral blood.
    Stem cells in the peripheral blood are contained in small quantities and bear the imprint of an adult's vital activity (diseases, infections, bad habits, etc.)
  • Umbilical cord blood and umbilical cord.
    Contain a large number of young and active stem cells, which are safer for use, less likely to cause complications and rejection in the recipient.

Cell therapy is an innovative direction in medicine, based on the application of the regenerative potential of stem cells of an adult organism for the purpose of treating many serious diseases, rehabilitating patients after traumatic injuries, and combating premature signs of aging.
Recently, the number of cases of successful treatment of patients with the use of stem cells: embryonic, isolated from placental tissue, adipose tissue, umbilical cord tissue and other sources is increasing.
Stem cells have a unique ability to transform into blood cells, liver, myocardium, bone, cartilage or nervous tissue. Thus restoring damaged organs and their functions.
They are also considered a promising biomaterial for growing pieces of skin, creating biological prostheses of heart valves, blood vessels, liver, and trachea, used as a unique biofiller for repairing defects in plastic and reconstructive surgery.< /p>

Treatment with stem cells is carried out by:

  • intravenous administration;
  • intra-articular injection;
  • internal organ transplantation.

Cell therapy can be carried out both as monotherapy and as a supplement to medical or surgical treatment.

Results of stem cell treatment:

  • Activation of the body's functional systems and metabolic processes;
  • Inflow of strength, increase in general vitality, decrease in weakness and fatigue, normalization of appetite and night sleep, increase in concentration.
  • Normalization of the emotional background and overcoming chronic fatigue syndrome, stimulation of intellectual and creative activity
  • Increasing sexual drive (libido) in men and women
  • Strengthening immunity to colds and aggressive environmental factors
